Park officially named for dedicated Stittsville resident Lee Boltwood
In 1965, Lee and Paul Boltwood were married. One year later in 1966, Lee and Paul left their beloved home province of British Columbia to set off in a new direction and their new venture in life.
The Boyd farmhouse has stood proudly in its place since 1872

Participants indicated a strong sense of support for an Algonquin name, an important step in work towards reconciliation – Todd Thompson, Principal, Shingwaakon Public School.
